The method used to downsample (or upsample) a texture. "nearest" can be used for a pixelated effect, whereas "linear" leads to more smooth results. Nearest is slightly faster than linear.

nearestFast nearest-neighbor sampling. Leads to a pixelated style.
bilinearSmooth pixel sampling.
trilinearSmooth pixel sampling, with smooth sampling across mipmap levels.
anisotropicAnisotropic texture filtering. The level of anisotropy can also be specified when setting this filter mode. Gives the best results but is also slower.
